AI Courses in Vancouver: Online and In-Person Options (2026)

Updated 2026-11-05

Short answer

People in Vancouver can take AI courses through local university continuing-education units, bootcamps, or self-paced online programs. Employers in gaming, film VFX, cleantech and SaaS increasingly ask for applied AI skills. Self-paced online study is the lowest-cost option and fits around work.

Learning AI in Vancouver

Vancouver has in-person options from local universities and colleges with fixed schedules and multi-thousand-dollar fees. Bootcamps are faster but intensive and usually cost more. Online programs remove commute and timing constraints and are open to anyone in British Columbia.

  • Schedule: fixed classes or self-paced
  • Practical work you can show an employer (a capstone or portfolio project)
