AI Courses in Toronto: Online and In-Person Options (2026)

Updated 2026-11-05

Short answer

People in Toronto can take AI courses through local university continuing-education units, bootcamps, or self-paced online programs. Employers in banking, insurance, retail and a large startup scene increasingly ask for applied AI skills. Self-paced online study is the lowest-cost option and fits around work.

Learning AI in Toronto

Toronto has in-person options from local universities and colleges with fixed schedules and multi-thousand-dollar fees. Bootcamps are faster but intensive and usually cost more. Online programs remove commute and timing constraints and are open to anyone in Ontario.

Where AI skills matter in Toronto

Toronto's large finance and insurance employers apply AI to reconciliation, fraud review, reporting and customer service, which puts finance, data and governance skills in demand.
